STEAM Capsules - OCS Livestream and Archive
LEARN is bringing the Open Creative Space days to you online. Inspired by makerspaces, these capsules are designed to inspire educators in creating engaging, hands-on lessons for students using household materials.
These 20- 30 minute sessions were recorded so you can watch them outside of class time. The videos are full of curriculum connections, helpful strategies, technical demonstrations, and skill development for all learners at all levels. Accompanying resources for both students and teachers, including detailed material lists, are available on the corresponding OCS blog posts for each video. The hashtags were inspired by Exploratorium’s The Tinkering Studio.
You can find all of the sessions and other playlists on the LEARN Youtube Channel OCS Playlist.

We also explore design objects or structures that affect a force on an object, the use of measuring instruments., the technological design process, Mathematics, units of measurement for length and angle, along with probability and distribution.
#CityStory
In this episode we look at telling stories and how to create the artifacts that represent the city or the country where stories get told.
#LightUpOurDays
